Does anybody actually believe this ****? A Canadian man has fought off a 320lb (145kg) black bear with skills he learned from years as a boxer. Rick Nelson, 61, from Ontario was walking his dog when a cub poked its head out of a shrub. Moments later, its mother charged out of the bushes and attacked. He fought off the mother bear with his bare fists, walking away with just minor scratches on his face and chest. The Canadian forestry ministry says that attacks by black bears are rare. After several swings from Mr Nelson, the bear walked away from the fight with a bloody nose. Mr Nelson said: "It just turned back around and walked away like nothing ever happened and followed the cub. So I really lucked out there." Despite his encounter, Mr Nelson told a Canadian broadcaster that he did not want people to fear black bears. The Government of Ontario says black bears usually avoid contact with humans. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-36722836
I don't believe this man but I think a quick boxer could do a bear on mobility. Ducking and dodging. I think the hand speed could do enough to deter a bear too but never going to hurt it. But it said he had minor scratches to his face. Surely if a fully grown black bear scratches your face you're scared for life. So I think the story is bollocks but in theory it's possible. Mr Nelson is a bullshiter me thinks. please log in to view this image
If he had been as good a boxer as me the bear would have asked for a tissue before the attack just in case it went tits up haha.. Cracking story that, Grizzlies are my nightmares..
Black bears do a quick attack and look for a retreat, it's a case of mothers protection. Mr Nelson is probably outside now putting his christmas tree light up and humming Billy Joel's worst ever song..
It was hairy officer, black and had evil eyes. I couldn't remember much more coz Napoleon was attacking again from the flank and my cappachino flask had spilt on the dog before he legged it..

I don't know how to describe it, it's like racism but it doesn't stop at white cops hating on black people, black police do it as well. It's like it's part of 'police code' or something. The police are rarely made accountable which will only make the public more angry and violent.
I remember the last time it kicked off over there a few years ago, wowee was that bad. There was one white fella got dragged out of his truck and just shot, all caught on camera, totally shocked me the brutality of it. A few years later the driver actually met up with his would be killer and forgave him? Big man to do that, don't know if i could.
Apologies, got that wrong. His name was Reginald Denny and was beaten up real bad and left for dead, not shot.
