I am not in the know so these are my personal thoughts. If the Allams remain owners they will have to re-introduce concessions for some one stripe members and away supporters. They will be seen as backing down in public. If the Allams remain they may have to recruit a new manager if OLM's hints are correct. If the Allams remain owners they will have to enter the transfer market themselves, possibly without a manager. If the Allams remain owners a significant part of the North Stand will be empty for all the world to see against Leicester City. If the Allams remain owners they may never get an offer for £100 million for the club again. Assem Allam likes dealing in cash. I suspect the final offer will hinge on how much of the £100 million is paid up front. With the lack of assets I don't blame the Allams for wanting as much cash up front as possible. They are business people and a £30 or £40 million profit on their initial investment of a few pounds isn't a bad return. Just my thoughts.
Why obviously? If you aren't signed up to confidentiality you could post... Or is the source at risk then? Easier to just say like OLM does that he isn't able to report what he knows. Guessing you are messing about trying to say the same thing but failing by being too cryptic?
I am not sure what to make of the HDM's statement, either they have a bid good enough to accept and they are saying to the other groups make us a final offer thats better or they have decided balls to it we are not selling anymore (which will be hugely disappointing) either way at least next week we will have some clarity. Think positive i guess....... UTT!!

I still think that they won't sell, and now I think that they are setting a deadline so they can cancel the whole sale and tell everyone it was due to potential buyers not being able to sort themselves out in time to suitably prepare for the new season I'm looking forward to everyone telling me what an idiot I was though!
Just been reading through your last few posts...... hopefully if they are allowed to do things behind the scenes etc..... could be promising, promising both that they could be good and promising that we could be sold! Be great to see some enthusiasm back at the club!
What I know is there are credible offers, and this deadline may be a chance to either push them for one final bump, flush out the other bidders, or to draw a line and give up. Any of the above are possible but I'd say it's not a dead issue yet. At least we have an end in sight now and we can all stop trying to guess which guess is the best guess, as you can't because they are all guesses. I think it's their last push to wring as much out before they sell. Personally. I know that those who have some inside info can't really add to what I have just said... It's not clear where it will go, but there is still action and dialogue with at least one offer.
Very touchy. It helps when reading about Italian football to know that AC Milan is referred to as Milan. The other team in Milan is referred to as Inter. Saves embarrassment caused by asking which Milan, AC or Inter, when Milan is mentioned.
