Re pogba... I'm thinking there's quite a bit of dismissive attitude to Italy here. Like it or not he's won 4 Italian leagues and 2 Italian cups plus got to cl final... Pogba is pogba. He's ready for a big club but his contract is determining fee notHong else. Kante will go for 20mil unless Leicester persuade him to sign a new deal so he's got a choice of any club
Pogba is a brilliant player who will get better. Don't agree with the reported £100m but apparently united are offering over £300k a week. Between Ibra, Pogba and Mkhit, I think that's close to £800k - £1m a week in wages just for 3 players.
The fee for pogba is related to demand and his availability. Juventus got him and prevented any bad clauses so 2019 and no release or an astronomical one He's on 175k after tax in Juventus so the wages have to be massive here to compete.
I'd rip their hand off for £15m though very much doubt that figure is correct even in these days of financial lunacy
Juventus are one of the biggest clubs, as big as utd easily. However the serie a is a bit weak these days.
Wtf, 15 million quid for Jordan Ibe. That useless ****er couldn't get in the side even when you guys were ****. It's like raheem sterling all over again. The one thing going for him is that hes quick and strong. You could go get akinbayef if thats what you want that. Really silly season right now.
He looked very promising at one point but it seems to have gone wrong and I don't see a lot else in his game other than strong and quick, £15M would be daft if it's genuine I'd go for it, Ojo suddenly looks a better prospect.
Liverpool have accepted a £15million bid from Bournemouth for winger Jordon Ibe . The ECHO understands that the 20-year-old has been given permission to hold talks with the South Coast outfit. Ibe's future at Anfield has looked increasingly uncertain after a disappointing 2015/16 campaign. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-fc-accept-15m-jordon-11580724
for me I think LFC need to think on this ibe stuff. 1. We personally are quite critical for a young player here. 2. he is 20 right now.... look at a few of the goals he's scored. look at the one v southampton, or the one v west scum on the last day. 3. look at his power. I think 15mil is not a bad fee but it could look very silly in 2 years time. So for me I think a loan first might benefit everyone. Bournemouth get a 15mil player for say 2mil for a year, they can try him out and maybe buy an extra player this year as a result. We get to see if he's got any real push on in him. Alternatively a 15mil buy back fee could be inserted.
Ojo's few appearances made him look head and shoulders above Ibe. Would happily take the money if it's true
ok fair enough if its accepted. I say insert buy back clause. Wish him well, he's a nice young lads thats no trouble to anyone.
I don't really agree, he's very inexperienced and could stall out just the same. very raw player who might just glue himself to a wing like ibe or kick on. he's a lot of improvement to do. THis could however allow harry wilson and ryan kent get a chance too.
