The fool said: "Listen Peter you little prick if u even have one tenth of the brain a basic primate has u would
realise that there is a move towards integrating International Accounting Standards from current Financial Reporting Standards."
What brought that on? What has this to do with the discussion?
They have been talking about that for years but it will never happen because International Accounting Standards are inferior to US GAAP. FRS 102 is on the way in now in the UK and that will be the accounting standard for a long time.

Some on here seem to prefer an open door to EU rapists, pickpockets and sundry criminals at the expense of nurses that can't get in because of an unequal policy that we sell our soul to be part of.

Some people have a low price on their principles.

Feeble attempts at ad hominems are often a sign of someone not having a proper argument.

Why would I want your sympathy or anyone else's?

This is a discussion thread so I gave my opinion...feel free to disagree but that's not what you do...instead you behave like a petulant child with pathetic insults.

I have no answer for the nonsense you wrote so didn't bother.

Telling people to **** off because you disagree with them shows your level.

No doubt you'll need to get your last word in so I'll stop responding so you can win.

What part of the non EU immigration cap being a UK policy are you struggling with?

    I'm not struggling at all.

It's the same answer each time you ask.

If we have to allow an unlimited number in from the EU, we have to limit the numbers from the rest of the world, hence rapists get in, but non-EU nurses get turned away.

I never said automatically... I said they can be and are deported.
So again...calling me stupid for disagreeing with your opinions does not make me stupid. You disagreeing with my views does not make them stupid.
You seem to use the word stupid without actually understanding what it means or when to use it in the right context

Just seen this on another board, and largely agree with the sentiment.

Your 2,000 nurses example highlights an obvious issue with the U.K. Selection process for non EU nationals. But overall we took more more non EU immigrants in last year than from the EU.

We have a net surplus of circa 1m EU citizens living here - 3m have arrived and 2m of ours have gone the other way. You're advocating closing the door on our youth being able to live and work wherever they choose within Europe.

Actually bananas are grown in the Canarias. Although not part of the EU VAT area or Shengen they are still politicaly part of the EU. Bodanski's claims about bananas are therefore relevant

Don't take it personally mate, he calls everyone stupid and tells them that they don't understand.

It seems to be the standard MO of the Hull posters contributing here.

It highlights the fact that the selection procedure needs to be under the control of each individual country, not influenced by some anonymous bureaucrat outside our control. That way, we get encourage productive and needed immigrants, and bin those that are liable to be a burden.

Other countries can apply a similar scheme. That would give more opportunities for youths, not less.

Currently there's no incentive for our youths to go their without employment, as the social security structure in other countries limits it. We tried to make ours the same, but were blocked by poorer countries because they claimed we were denying their nationals to take our money in the way other countries had.

We have limited access to our benefits system to EU nationals, so you're out of date there.

They get **** all for 3 months, then JSA for 3 months - with no housing benefit, and at that point if they can't prove they have an imminent job offer, then nothing.

Free movement means what it says and it's both a good thing and a 2 way street. You disagree, I think you're wrong.

Oh and our selection process for non EU nationals is the result of our own bureaucrats not the EU's

I'm aware of that, as are those coming in, who have also worked out the ways around it., but it only makes a limited difference to the numbers.

Yep, the selection process is ours, but th enumbers they have to work within are determined by an assessment of potential arrivals, be they migrant or asylum seekers etc.

It's not a two way street. It can't be when we don't get the same benefits and access to services there as they get here.
