Hope he wins a slam for old times sake. Always been a Nadal fan over Fed although always admired fed. Now that Nadal is the tennis version of Sturridge and won't be beating Feds record, i hope Fed gets a few more even if it denies Murray
Opposite way round for me. Huge Fed fan but totally respect Nadal's achievements in tennis and admire his game and athleticism, shame he's having the probs he's having as it would be ace to see the Nadal of the mid-noughties with those huge topspin heavy groundies back again, think that is permanently gone now, too much pressure on his body to maintain it
Reeeeeeeeeally want Fed to win this Wimbly. Murray will get more chances for years, Fed is right at the end now. Although I won't mind if Murray wins I don't particularly have any investment in him as a fan, he's a terrific player but his game is a bit boring and functional, like Djokovic

Yeah, everyone prefers style over substance although i will always argue Nadal was the better player. Maybe short lived like George Best. Which is very weird cause in football i've always preferred the style players over atleticsm. So i've always preferred the ozils, the riquelemes the messis over the gerrards lampards and ronaldos (although i loved fat ronaldo)
I think i liked nadal just like i liked Beckham because they made the most of their talents (the impression i get). To be honest i should think the same about ronaldo too as he treats his body like a template but i just don't like the poncy gits team attitude
I don't think Nadal is without style, for a two-handed backhander he's always been one of the more flairy sort, especially with his lasso forehand. True, he isn't as naturally gifted as Federer in terms of shot-making, variety and engineering rallies, Fed is a true artist with his racquet, Nadal is, well was, more about brute force and extreme spin which I did enjoy watching. He's not the same player now though
