With all the TV money now in the game me thinks many game times are going to be switched for TV -esp ones we want to go to. <doh> ....Sunderland maybe minimally affected as we don't attract the cameras though <cheers>

I'll be up for the Boro game and it would be quite handy knowing in advance when to book trains, accommodation, etc <doh>

Is there a definite day when they announce the tv games as it really does change everyone's plans if the dates are changed?

Really?:emoticon-0112-wonde 9 teams played less tv games than us last season. In the 14/15 seasons we were the 12th most televised club.

Amazing how people just assume the negative in Sunderland. And you're one of the positive ones. We've had plenty of TV time, it's our league position which have been lowering our revenue, not TV Appearances.

I was surprised as well when I saw the numbers of screenings per team at the end of the season.

We did rack up quite a few at the meaty end of the season though, which may have lent the perception that there'd been fewer of our games on tv earlier on.

Our league position means we get more games on tv naturally, but a mid table finish with a few less game is worth a hell of a lot more the the other way round. Be entertaining and push for Europe then you get the best of both worlds.

I can't get up to the north east more than once or twice a season but I never miss a game on the box.

If we lose I can't watch MOTD. So the live games are all I usually get to see, other than 1or 2 MOTD's, seeing as how wins during the early to mid-season are rarer than rocking horse ****.

I'd just like a footy season where I can watch MOTD at least twice a month!

Is that too much to ask for? :(

<cheers> Lack of research by me - may have been because we had a number of crucial games at end of season against clubs in troube or going for it - remarkable how easily we can get sucked into negative thoughts
    But ....Consecratio Excellentiae :1980_boogie_down:
