It's all getting a bit boring, what's the hold up, a greedy player or a gobby City suit...? ttp://www.bristolpost.co.uk/the-lee-tomlin-bristol-city-saga-what-we-know-so-far/story-29479264-detail/story.html
All the hallmarks of modern football and the arseholes operating inside it. No wonder people fall out of love with the game.
Apparently he's already signed as some kid was photographed with him earlier. It's on OTIB but nothing is always 100% and the poster is getting questioned but he is adamant he's telling the truth.
I was in Ashton at lunch time and someone working at the ground said he had been pictured with a shirt etc?? I don't know whats going on?
Two people connected to the club on OTIB saying it's a done deal, but they have no idea why the delay.
Lee Tomlin says it was always his desire to return to Bristol City. The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract to complete an undisclosed fee switch from Premier League side AFC Bournemouth. Tomlin is now determined to build on his successful loan spell of last season, which yielded six goals in 18 appearances. “From the day the season finished I just wanted to come back,” Tomlin told Bristol City Player HD, in his exclusive first interview since returning. “I loved every minute of my loan spell at Bristol City; the people and the fans. “It was stressful at times this summer but I was just so desperate to come here. I can’t thank Steve Lansdown, Mark Ashton and the gaffer enough for making it happen. “It feels like a big weight off my shoulders now that it’s done. Hopefully I can start where I left off from last season.” With Tomlin in their team, City registered 28 points last season in their ultimately-successful bid to stave off relegation. The season’s second-half form is something Tomlin is determined to build on as Ashton Gate prepares to be reopened as a 27,000-seater venue. He added: “From the moment I came in under John Pemberton and then with the gaffer, the form was pretty much top six. “The gaffer has said to me that to have a player of my calibre at Ashton Gate is massive. “It was weird playing in the stadium with three sides and scaffolding everywhere. Hopefully it’ll be packed when the season begins and it’s important to make it our fortress.” Tomlin’s first game back in a City shirt is set to be at Hengrove Athletic this Sunday (kick-off 2pm), with tickets still available by clicking here.
Hoorah! Thought we would get a new Tory leader before this was sorted. Hopefully he will now focus on the job in hand and limit his time on twatter.

No someone on Twitter said they would lick his sack, so he was getting noshed of first to see if our fans are worth it.
