Today: City fly out to the Algarve to begin a gruelling warm-weather training camp at their now traditional base on the outskirts of Portimao. No fixtures will be played but the emphasis will be placed upon topping up lost fitness with a series of demanding sessions. Media access is being granted on Monday and Tuesday of next week. July 13: After eight days of training, the Tigers return home to East Yorkshire ahead of their first pre-season action beginning 48 hours later. July 16: The traditional Billy Bly Trophy will be up for grabs as City travel to near neighbours North Ferriby United (3pm kick-off), who are preparing for a first season in the National League. August 3: City head to Kufstein, a small Austrian town close to the German border, to face Caykur Rizespor (6pm kick-off) at the Kufstein Arena. The Turkish side will be the penultimate opponents ahead of the Premier League campaign.
