Litany normally - but not always - applies to plural nouns and verbs, particularly gerunds in the latter case.

Let's face it the English language is fluid, it's adaptable and open to one's own personal interpretation, I may have used it in a rather oblique manner, but it's quite clear I knew exactly what "Litany" means.

Now that we are all agreed let's put this whole sorry affair behind us.

And try to cut down on the comma splices. :mad:
