    ... I'm all for that one .... the welfare state was introduced with a view to assisting the temporarily unemployed ... not to become a lifestyle choice ...

    I would very much favour a system that rewarded those willing to take any job (that they could do) and then top up with benefits to make it a decent living ..

    Those not willing to get off their arses should get minimum subsistence benefit and not necessarily all in cash - food delivery making up the largest element - they can order on line etc ... ***s and booze restriction ...
