All very well, however nothing has happened, players that they would like have moved elsewhere, players they are after have not signed. All very well mentioning and wanting high quality players, however you got to match that with salaries to reflect it. pipedream comes to mind,or your in a sweet shop with all those lovely things sat there, but you now you can have them.
Signing and getting are two different things. If we are after the players they mention.they are going to cost. You would have thought they would of got that after last season .
But it's only July 2nd still 2 whole months to go till transfer deadline day. Fans like you complain enough that things are not moving quickly then when things don't work out like Al Abd you say we are wasting money. With fees floating round plus then you've got their wages to contend with based on an average 18k fans. I know you say bring the players and the crowds will come, but that's a gamble on YOUR view. If it don't work and we exceed FFP then we get fined plus transfer embargo. Here's a good idea lets leave it to the people in charge of the clubs finances, security and concentrate on supporting the club.
Another one we are rumoured in for Diego DeGirolamo former Sheff Utd winger, probably for the under 21's as has no real experience
Haven't posted on here all summer, surprisingly. Anyway according to a football journalist from the mirror Lee Tomlin is edging closer to signing
BRISTOL CITY 'AGREE' DIEGO DEAL Bristol City have agreed a deal to sign former Sheffield United winger Diego de Girolamo, according to the Bristol Post. The free agent had been expected to join Chesterfield on trial this week, but is reportedly ready to pen a one-year contract with City. Robins assistant head coach John Pemberton worked with De Girolamo during his time in charge of Sheffield United’s youth teams.

If he fails to agree terms with Norwich I hope we don't go back for him, as I don't want us to be second choice for these players.
If you're only after players who grew up dreaming of playing for Bristol City above all other clubs, then you're going to have a pretty small pool to choose from.
I agree with that, what I don't like is virtually agreeing to his wage demands and fee approved then to wait because another club becomes interested. Possibly not the player but some agent. But would you want a player only signing as a last minute decision because team X didn't give him the car or something silly that the he wants?
