What's the funniest chants you've heard/ seen at any sporting event you've been to. Just to shake off all the cob webs and get everyone back in the swing of things for the new season.

People might not like Cricket but this is hilarious. Can't see it taking off at City though.

i ve quoted it before a few times on this and the CI board, but when Lee Howey was playing for Sunlan, and after Steve Howey (his brother) had played for Newcastle, the Sunlan terraces used to sing:
(to the tune of 'a hunting we will go')
Lee 'owey, Lee 'owey, Lee 'owey
    Your brother is a c**t!

So funny. The brum lads are also stars of the art

I've got a book of classic chants, my favourite is to Colchester goalkeeper Dean Gerkin from some Palace fans:
    Stayed in a Burger
You should have stayed in a Burger (repeat!)

I remember being away at Carlisle when we won 5-1 and some guy started the chant

    Glennon ate my pie
    Matt Glennon ate my pie
I know he did I'm sure he did
    Matt Glennon ate my pie

Then it was Glennon drank my pint....

We even had the coppers laughing, The Carlisle fans responded by singing 'There's only one Matty Glennon' So we changed it to Fatty Glennon.

Then we noticed Stuart Green (who was on loan there so couldn't play) sitting in the box opposite the away fans so started singing Judas, followed by Greeny What's the score?! Greeny Greeny What's the score?!

To this day that is still up there among my favourite away days!

Any of the chants we've made at Paddy Kenny and Neil Warnock at Bramall Lane are a laugh. Most of the stuff we direct at Leeds fans is funny and i loved the 'we support our local team' jibes at Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans in the PL. Always plenty of songs about tractors at Norwich and Ipswich and Sheep at Cardiff. It's my first trip to Brighton in October and i've ben told the chant towards their fans is 'Does your boyfriend know your here?' which will join my list of funny chants!

Think this preceeds that link you've just posted.

Others to the Aussies i found funny was you're the convicts over there song (like the left/ right side song), God Save your gracious Queen, take your **** stars off our flag and you're next Queen will be Camilla Parker Bowles.

The aye aye Paddy, how's the wife? Stuff is funny but usually back fires, as he normally plays a blinder against us. Remember that 3-2 match at Bramall Lane, where he gave it back as much as he got, until he got away with a decision and milked it no end, even so much that when they scored the winner in the last few minutes someone rushed on the pitch to confront him.

I remember a good one was to the Leicester fans was "you're **** and it's Taylor's fault". Usually had the desired affect.
