I suspect that Portugal will come into the match as favourites, but after their heroics against Belgium, Wales will be quietly confident, despite having Davies & Ramsey suspended. A sub-plot is Bale v Ronaldo. How fantastic it would be for Wales & Bale personally to send the "great sulk" home to Portugal with his tail between his legs...... The possible Welsh XI could be: 01 Hennessey 05 Chester 06 Williams 19 Collins 02 Gunter 07 Allen 16 Ledley 08 King 03 Taylor 11 Bale 09 Robson-Kanu Can this Welsh fairy tale continue ? I think it can, but this could go either way. I'm going to go 2-1 to Wales, with Bale scoring a late winner!
I would prefer to see Jazz Richards in the back line, I know Collins has played well this season, but he is 32, and we need energy and strength of Jazz Richards, who has done very well every time he has been called on by Coleman...........
Been as optimistic as anyone with Wales opportunity in Euro 2016 but ...... I think the dream stops here with Ramsey and Davies out and Porugal due for a good game . Hope I'm wrong .... 3-0 Portugal . Good luck and hope I'm way off with this post .
Portugal haven`t won a game so far in 90 minutes, if we put them to the sword, this is another one they won`t win, hopefully we can get past this lot. please log in to view this image Davies and Ramsey will be missed, let`s hope the replacements can step up to the plate so they won`t be missed.
We can win this if we can keep Ronaldo quiet..I have not been impressed with Portugal at all and they do look like a one man team. If we can play like we have been we can reach the final....

We have never reached the semi's in a major competition either....I don't believe reading into statistics it can work against you if you dwell on them...
I really think Wales can beat Portugal, the team spirit seems incredible and I don't think you need to fear anyone left in the competition. And in five games, Portugal haven't beaten anyone over 90 minutes. Would love to see you do it. Come on Wales! Will be cheering for you in the semi-final.

We must not be over confident against this lot as they can turn it on sometimes and approach the game as underdogs because that's what we are and don't let anyone try to convince you any different. I expect our back 4 to be very busy with our best chance coming off a break and set pieces. We have two key players missing but i dont think it will make that much difference as long as we keep things tight and we pass the ball well....i can see this going to a draw 2-2 and with a penalty shoot out then its a lottery...
Portugal have had a poor tournament and I think it's going to get poorer on Wednesday night in Lyon. Wales 2 Portugal 1 with the Dragons roaring into the EURO 2016 Final.
I heard on the radio that they are considering moving Gunter to Davies' position and playing Jazz as a wing back. As for the result I am sticking with we aren't going to win this game it has worked all the way through so far, so I am going again for a Wales 1-3 Portugal.
