The hand of Rigg strikes again (he had a chat with young Gayle before the lad turned to Newcastle). Guess you're correct about Necastle and McCormack Fab, especially with them also likely to sign Matt Ritchie. However, don't rule out the Villa's or the Norwich's interest.

Blimey, we're only getting half of that £500k; the other half goes to Paris St Germain. And meanwhile Dembele has bagged a £250k signing on fee plus trebled his wages (reputedly going from £6k per week to just under £20kper week). We're in the wrong league!!

Anybody else irritated about current staff saying how brilliant the future is for younsters that have left the Club on free transfers? We had it with Hyndman and now Peter Grant, "the former Celtic 'cult' hero and current Fulham U21 youth coach", is bigging up Dembele and throwing Pat Roberts into the mix (who admittedly didn't leave for nothing):

The ex-Bhoys midfielder told the Scottish Sun: "Patrick and Moussa were dynamite together with the youths here. They absolutely ripped it up, forming a brilliant understanding, scoring goals and teeing each other up. They were also good pals. Patrick will help Moussa settle into Glasgow - and I'd be thrilled if they were to deliver for Celtic on the park."

Now I could be wrong but memory says Peter Grant wasn't actually around when Moussa and Pat were 'ripping it up' for Steve Wigley's U18 team and Kit Symons' U21 team.

Sorry about this Fab but looks as though the Pringle is off to Preston NE. Only a rumour mind, albeit a strong one.

Another strong rumour doing the rounds isn't really appropriate in this thread - maybe not any thread on this Board - but I cant resist it. Rosc, have you heard that Jake Bidwell is moving from Brentford to QPR? And for a measly £1.3m at that.

[To be honest if that one turns out be true I will join you in blowing a gasket. Three guesses what our absolute priority is - yup, a left back. What in the name of St Jude does Mike Rigg do all day!!??]

Reports saying stekelenburg to everton will be confirmed in the next 24 hours. The fee rumoured to be around £1m. Getting his wages off the wage bill is the main thing, the fee is a bonus.

This is one of the problems I have with Jokanovic, when we let players go like Pringle, played in the correct position CM he can do a job for us. There are too many players he seems to have just not given a chance last season, he admits to not playing Hyndman, Woodrow and Smith are other cases, for me that's a sign of someone who has not watched Videos before he chooses who are his favourites, for me he did not identify the problems that needed to be rectified when he came in. Let's not forget Jokanovic had real poor run from the time he took over, there was no new manager bounce. I'll be interested to see who and the type of player he brings in.
This club has the totally wrong strategy from top to bottom.

Pringle sold to Preston North End. (Nothing on Official website yet!!!)
Never really played in his best position, which was the same as Cairney.
It seems to me that if we keep selling players that we will either need a lot of players in soon or we will have no cover for certain positions if players get injured.

Yeah, up on the official Fulham site just now. As ever it says for "an undisclosed fee". The Pringle had 1 year left on his contract with an option for another year - any clue how much Preston paid maclad?

And how long he signed on for?

Cheers mac. Sounds like a good deal for The Pringle. See his Transfer Market value is tad less than £500k so even if Preston paid that, good deal for them as well.

Nando's bluff has been called. He's been told he has to toe the line - at least until an acceptable offer has been received, or a third loan deal brokered. Or face a fine.

Ah well, money talks so he's with the squad in the pre-season trip to Ireland. Wonder how committed he is though?

I see he has gone to Alaves who were the second division champions last season - won it by a point from Leganes -, so I guess you'll get to see Nando on the TV now and again if you want to relive the old days with him.

They are based in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz which is up north in the Alava province in the Basque country (in fact it's the capital city of the Basque Autonomous Community) so he's gone back to the same area he came to us from.

Glad to see the back of him to be honest.
