    picked up my tickets on saturday. guy on the door said they've not sold anywhere near what they have done before due to both teams having poor seasons.

    feel for welling more than charlton as this game usually keeps them going most of the season. although the guy said that with mark goldberg coming in, it should stop them yo-yoing

    anyone else from here going?

    I can't find much about pre season on the site- was there a game against Bromley announced?

    I'm not going to Welling - never usually bother.

    Cheers for that - a few people I know stated interest in that game so think I'll go along there. Will probably be made up of yoof and players in need of more fitness I imagine.

    I'm not going to our annual curtain raiser against Welling. I've got better things to do with my time. First time I am going to miss it as well. I feel this is going to be the first of many now.

    yep, speaking to the guy selling the tickets it sounds like they need it. they seemed to be doing the place up - lots of builders there

    It's been years since I got excited about a pre season friendly (it may have been Dartford v Gillingham back in 1980) and this year is just a continuation. I will probably check the full time score, but really, I can't be assed just yet- its the cricket season and RD is our owner.

    I guess this pre-season is going to be similar to that of having s** with ex. It's okay, it's intriguing and you know what it's going to be like; but it's nothing exciting, new or special...
