I seem to remember cheering when you scored against Brazil in some World Cup some time in the last century. I may have been drunk though.
Wee Archie's finest hour. I think I was camping with Scouts during this game. We listened on the radio smoking ***s as Akela was up the pub. The Ship in Itchenor probably.
I'm English, I like to see Scotland do well, just as long as they don't do better than us! Which is not very well.
I think the big difference is Scots don't give two ****s who supports them, the Taffs, Paddys or the English, we don't really care one way or another, but as this thread shows, the English seem to get awfully upset when fans of the home nations want them to lose. I've yet to hear one good reason why Scots should want England to do well.
You shouldn't. I agree. It's the celebrations when we fail that are a bit sad though. **** sake, getting worked up because another country ****s up. I wouldn't support Scotland necessarily but I'm not peevish or sad enough to take joy from your (multiple) failures.
