No, I was thinking of other things being equal. That's why I said things are not usually black and white. If you chose care based on how much tax the patients had paid then there would be a lot of dead newborns - unless you considered the parents. It's not easy decisions but some doctors have to make judgements regularly. I'm glad that in my area I don't have to make those kinds of decisions.

 

A Dr will try to save any life irrespective of age, colour, religion or where the person comes from.
Not a job I would want.

I was shocked when I googled and there were various indications that doctors were not always trying to keep people alive. A lot of times it was for understandable reasons not like the reasons given in the link above.

Would you allow uncontrolled EU migration IF they had a job to go to but get 0 benefits of any type for 5 years. That no housing, tax credits, NHS (so private insurance needed) child benefit etc

It wont be many but if we need immigrants to do certain jobs then there's a good chance we will be offering them more than they get back home.

 

Thats fine, well all accept we need migrants for certain jobs and they will be helped as per UK nationals are. But it would stop the flow of unskilled car washers and pick pockets

Are the workers rights and living conditions of low skilled low wage migrants (EU/EEA) better protected through an uncontrolled unregulated system or through a controlled and regulated migration policy?
