    He had a good tournament.

I wouldn't be surprised if Conte wants him at Chelsea.

Even if Giac wants to leave this summer, at least we can ask more for him now

Too right, if we were buying him we'd be quoted about 10 mil I reckon but would get him for 8.

I was in Sunderland tonight @ the Masonic Lodge (wedding reception) & the blokes were obviously in the bar watching the footy. When Giacc scored his pen, the place erupted, he seems to have the backing of quite a few fans :emoticon-0148-yes:

It was Conte that sold him to us. I'd be surprised if he was looking at him.

The problem with Giaccherini's valuation, is that he has just entered the final year of his contract. I think we'll get about 4m for him, maybe 5m at a push.

I'd still be delighted if SA wanted to keep hold of him.

Sadly that's a real possibility plus players played in unfamiliar roles for England esp Kane & playing internationally inexperienced unfit players (Sturridge & Sterling) - must have put doubts in squads mind re Hodgson

I believe he sold him reluctantly and wanted him to stay.

Kane in an unfamiliar role? He was CF.

I agree though, he selected his favourites regardless of how prepared they were, as we always expected him to.

Well when I played football a tall strong CF was supposed to be in the penalty area causing problems from.corners and free kicks not taking them - was he not selected for his goals not as a set piece taker.
Also why was the in form Rashford not played sooner when we needed goals .....many more questions than answers ...<doh>
    But onwards <cheers>

Yeah he shouldn't have been on set pieces, not least because he's awful at them, never mind his position!

Was in the bar last watching the Jormans, everyone cheered when they missed a penalty.

Didn't do much good though :undecided:

Pelle's penner was an embarrassment. My son took a similar one yesterday at a football party and I am still shaking my head. He's 7.

France showing everyone how good Iceland really are.

They were brilliant against England and deserved the win, but we should have beaten this team no problem.
