Away from the inconsistency of Pompey's season, with the playoff now looking the best option, a look into the Vanarma League South sees Havant & Waterlooville in real danger of being relegated to the Southern League. The Hawks have been in the Conference South from the very first season of its existence. It reminds me a bit of Pompey's long standing place in what is now the Championship; spending every season, bar one, there from 1983 to 2003.

    http://www.footballconference.co.uk/tables.php?division_id=21

The Hawks' last 3 games are:
    Concord Rangers away 23/4
    Truro City home 28/4
    Weston-Super-Mare home 30/4

I really hope they can avoid relegation, Dev.
Lee Bradbury has a real job on his hands to save them from the dreaded drop.

A pal of mine is an avid Poole Town fan, and they clinched promotion as champions yesterday up to the Conference South. Just hope they are not replacing H & W.

Hawks drew 0-0 with Truro last night so go into the last game in the relegation zone on goal difference.

    18..Margate 47 [-20]
    19..St Albans 46 [-11]

    Hawks at home to Weston-Super-Mare
St Albans at home to Dartford
    Margate away to Bath City.

If you're not going up to Hartlepool on Saturday why not get along to Westleigh Park and get behind The Hawks

Fingers crossed the scores remain the same at the end of the second half.

    Disaster.
Weston have Equalised which means Havant & Waterlooville are heading for the Southern League Premier

Margate now 2-0 down at Bath.
If Bath get a 3rd and Hawks remain 1-1, Hawks would stay up by the narrowest of margins, with equal goal difference bur having scored 1 more goal.

    All over

Havant & Waterlooville are relegated to the Southern League Premier Division, failing by a goal difference of 1 to stay up.

The Hawks have been ever present in the Conference South since it started. This is a sad day for Pompey's friendly neighbours

    Sad news !

    Hawks are relegated.

Will Lee Bradbury be given the chance to get them promoted back up next season ?

On this year's performance he'll be lucky if he does.

His lad Harvey is a striker in Pompey's academy, and apparently quite a promising youngster.

The Hawks have been placed in the Isthmian League Premier Division as opposed to the Southern League, so there could be some new grounds for old Havant Town and Waterlooville FC supporters to visit.
