Yes but it's not quite 6 months yet, that will be " day 183, film 183.... I am semi retired... So have a lot of spare time on my hands but I must admit Mrs mop is not a happy bunny!!!!!
Just done a Kurt Russell double of Escape from New York and Big Trouble in Little China. Forgot how much I liked both those films, particularly the latter - both are so great.
Day 182, film 182," phenom", its about a rookie baseball pitcher, got one of my top ten actors in it. Paul Giamatti
Well it's here, 6 months into my leap year of film,I've seen some absolutely wonderful movies in the last 6 months, some new, some old and some pure gold, but also some absolute ****e !!!! Here's hoping in the next 6 months there'll be more good than bad. Day 183, film 183," batman vs superman... Afdah my saviour !!!!!
Day 184, film 184," my big fat Greek wedding 2", not looking forward to this but Mrs mop's got the remote!!
Just watched The lost honour of Christopher Jeffries True story of a school teacher accused of murder in Bristol Couldn't remember the case to be honest, although Mrs T could Brilliantly acted by Jason Watkins, and really makes you think about how an unsubstantiated accusation could really **** your life up Classic British slightly eccentric film (about a slightly eccentric person) Worth a watch
I love the line, I don't think you lot understand, I'm not locked in here with you, your locked in here with... Me !!!!
Watched When I Wake last night. It's a horror with a couple of jumpy moments but a weak storyline. 5/10
Gonna watch Terminator 2, it had it's 25 year anniversary yesterday. Haven't seen it in ages. One of the truly great sequels.
Just found this in my lads collection, from 1996!!! Day 188, film 188," the great white hype"... Samuel Jackson....
Day 188, film 188," pride", about a group of gays And lesbians supporting the miners strike... Mrs mops sister recommended it to her, So I'm stuck with that tonight, supposed To be funny though......
Watchable for a feel good film. Doesn't get too sloppy and covers serious and still relevant issues. Quite closely based on a true story. Almost brought a tear to my eye anyway.
"Pride", wasn't really looking forward to watching it but how bloody wrong i was, it's a very good watch, funny in parts and the bit where the head of the local miners union had to stand up in a gay club and thank them for the money they had raised was very good... All in all a good nights watch, won't be to everyone's taste but i have a very open mind and really enjoyed it....
