Mate of mine lives in Italy, beautiful little town called Alberobello. He's half Italian, half Spanish and half English. Spurs fan obviously. Despite all that, he's a good lad. When we've visited them over there, he's told me to NEVER cross at a zebra crossing. It lulls you into a false sense of security apparently. They will not stop. Even if you're half way over. He also told me cars come off the production line in Italy with bumps and dents. Just so you don't feel so bad when you hit someone else. To the footy, Germany all the way for me, well in this game at least. Lived there for 8 years, the food is awesome, No ****ing about. Meat, chips, and some more meat. They don't **** about with drizzling olive oil on your food. Mayo and/or curry ketchup. Or thick sauces with mushrooms or peppers in. German food is no nonsense, good stuff. Their beer is better than the Italians too. Wine is for ladies, so, who cares about that, although they do a good job of that too. Germans also respect a queue, Italians do not. Germany tonight, no question.
I've never seen a German side look so nervous. That was brilliant by the Italians. 4 players stopping Neuer take a short goal kick. Never seen that before ever.
0-0 HT. One for the purists. Been a tactical masterclass. Which means for the average fan it is boring as ****.
I think it's been good, just both defences have played well. There's been no shortage of attacking intent.
Interesting match, Khedira going off has helped Italy a lot. Hope Italy win it in normal time without bookings, got 16-1 for them just before the tournament started
Random question - is there any person in the World who think the accumulative yellow card suspension rules are actually any good?
You wouldn't think Gomez couldn't get into the Fiorentina team. He's been revitailised since they farmed him out on loan.
