Tosh started all this, putting Flynn in charge of all the youth set-up. The late great Gary Speed picked up the baton, then after his sad passing, Coleman took us on & after a awful initial period, instilled his slant on the previous 2 great men & more importantly, gave them belief!! Approx 8-10 years later, we're reaping the rewards....

What an amazing night! Brilliant!! <applause>

I'll be more confident of Wales beating Portugal than Belgium. Portugal have had two extra-times and a penalty shoot-out to contend with, while Wales have had two victories in regulation time. May or may not have an effect.

On the down side, do Wales have the quality in depth to do without Ben Davies and Aaron Ramsey? I guess it's between Collins and Richards to replace Ben D. They've both made appearances at the Euros apparently, although I don't remember when. Edwards, Williams or King to replace Ramsey, and again all those three have had game time.

Gareth Bale is a very down-to-earth team player for Wales whereas with Ronaldo it's all about me, me. me.

    Wales for the final then.

Probably Edwards coming in for Ramsey. Williams as an impact sub. Ramsey's a big loss, no doubt about that.

    Collins coming in no problem.

Ramsey is a massive loss. I think hes been our player of the tournament.

That idiot Adrian Durham from talksh!te was insisting a few months ago that Jon Jo Shelvey is better than Aaron Ramsey.

I really dont know who should come in. Williams is the most gifted but very lightweight. Seen him overpowered by Peter Whittingham.!!!!

Coleman has got all the calls right so far so lets hope this change works.

We can do this!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable really.

50 years ago England won the World Cup, after beating Portugal in the semi-final, Eusebio and all.

This time, we have Portugal in the semi-final, Ronaldo and all.

Could it be that we will face Germany in the final? <cheers>

Anyone know where we can get hold of an Azerbaijanian (Russian) linesman? <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Johnny Williams has played well in this Tournament, but he can't last 90. Perhaps he can do half a shift with one of the Leicester boys...or perhaps Coleman will change our formation. As you say, he's got all the calls right so far <ok>

I must take exception here, he got the tactics all wrong against England second half, he sat us far too deep, and gave them far too much respect, clearly he learned from that against Belgium, for me the Ramsey position is easily covered with Williams or King, but the cover for Ben Davies must be thought out well, Collins is 32, and can be a liability in my view, he's a red card waiting to happen, I'm leaning towards Jazz Richards to come in, as he is familiar with the Swansea back line, but I have a feeling Coleman will go with Collins.............<ok>

He was 90 seconds away from getting Wales into the quarter final stage at the England match. If it was an Italian team it would have been described as a tactical masterclass, but he was undone by a goal out of nothing. Fine margins.

As a Swansea city supporter, you should have learned by now that sitting on a scoreline very rarely works...............<laugh>

Agreed. Apart from the England game when we were set up to invite them on to us Coleman has been excellent and silenced a lot of his critics, me included.

His tactics generally have reaffirmed my belief that you HAVE to roll the dice at this level. Inevitably, if you sit back you'll get thumped. Doesn't matter how good the opposing players are, if they are pressed and get little time on the ball you're in with a chance. Wales were brilliant at that last night, and took Hazard out of the game almost completely.

Belgium could and should have scored a couple more than we did. Good, no brilliant defending from the boys and a few lacklustre efforts from Lukaku made sure we did it.

Keep up the spirit and we can go into Wednesday with high hopes and let`s not bottle it <doh>

Germany VS Italy = gold medal game IMO . Going into today's game ( I Think ) they have played 8 games and have given up one goal in them 8 games , I think it was Italy that gave one up .
