Here we go. What Les says is not an opinion about what you think ambition is for the club. It is merely conceding all authority and thought to someone else. Why both coming on to a forum to say "my opinion is his opinion"? I made all my options a little snarky, but you took offence at the one you associate with. That is why bla bla bla. It is a little blablaboring that you decide to stop and deride the poll rather rhan simply engage with it. Peace man. I support the club by questioning and you do it your way. We're still wanting the same things.

Don't understand this fascination with "ambition." So stupid. All I care about is whether they can win some football games. Don't care how much they spend or how they do it.
Well let's try and explain. Without ambition, this trying to win games malarkey will come up against the buffers soon enough. In other words, in football you have to be ambitious every day just to stand still, because everyone else is ambitious to do better, or at the very least, to stand still, too.
It's only about perception and the keeping up with the jones mentality. They've spent 30k on a car, so i'm going to spend 40k on a car. You're not checking to see if that car is value for money. It's being spent because you can. Do you think Andy Murray is more passionate about Tennis than Novak Djorkovic because he shouts at himself more on the court? This craved "ambition" is nothing more than worthless posturing and should be left to the egomaniacs
Well we wouldn't have got in the Europa league without the ambition to do so, and we won't get into the Champions league without it either. Do remember that this football game stuff is a competition.
LCFC showed anyone can win the league, regardless of "ambition" (money). I'm happy not to get relegated and go into administration.
Ambition is meaningless without the means to pursue it. A team in League 1 could say our ambition is to play in the CL, whereas another team could say our ambition is to get to the Championship....the first team could be called more ambitious, but without a plan or means, they have no way of achieving it. Saints have a plan for progress and the ambition to win the title....surely that is worth more than ambition alone. Not so much on here, but there are some fans (who must live in a parallel universe) who seem to think Saints are doing everything on the cheap as the club is being stripped by Katharina. Without one shred of evidence that that is happening.
Ambition.....For me it is about wanting something more than you have already got..........It is about trying to do better than you did the year before........about never accepting failure as a normal occurrence. Simple really when you think about it........... Edit .....and building for the future.....'cause fats told me too......
Some people confuse ambition with making wild statements and over paying for everything. No point in buying Joe Bloggs at £5 mill as he must be a far better player if you pay £15 mill for him....bit like Liverpool really.
