And the game against Sunderland, whose large followings are always vociferous, which got another 5, whilst Rovers away game with about 200 of their fans in a 2,000 or so crowd got 9, Or the roar at Craven Park that must have turned back the Humber. From a crowd of under 2,000.
Two clubs didn't merge. Gateshead Thunder became 'Gateshead Thunder trading as Hull FC' That's one club. The present day Gateshead RL club are relatively new and were formed, I believe from the ashes of the old club..
Can't have been many Huddersfield fans there when you take away the thousands that travel to every FC match.
Some classic pro RL stuff in the HDM today. Rovers 16 Warrington 16. 'Our KR Spirit Came Through' ......a perfect platform to build for the remainder of 2016. Rovers sit second bottom BUT ' their slim dreams of reaching the top eight remain alive' 'Heroic Rovers' 'Never say die spirit' The real story is that HKR are second to bottom, two points in front of Leeds but having played a game more so staring relegation in the face. Relegation a word that is not mentioned anywhere in the report.
I wish someone would lock him in a ****ing closet, he must be the most mind numbingly boring poster on here and returns like the proverbial bad smell each time a thread veers into the subject of football v rugby league.
Another massive week for our two RL clubs, with an unlucky defeat against Huddersfield Bulldogs for Hull then Rovers put in a great shift to hold Warrington Dragons at the KC ****estream. That's 1 point out of a possible 4 for our clubs. As weeks go that's an 8/10. How much truth is there in the rumour they're bringing the greyhound racing back? I reckon 7/10.
I would be willing, as would others who know you, to put your City supporting credentials, your backing of City in monetary terms when we were at our lowest ebb and your connection and help to various organisations promoting Hull City and the city of Hull above most on here, especially ****ers who departed for Qatar and then Cambridge.
You do realise of course that the team that finishes bottom of the Super League does not automatically get relegated. No team from the Super League was relegated last year when Wakefield finished bottom.
Perhaps if he had to work or be exposed on a daily basis to local RL fans the poor lad would understand.
Wrong way around fella Hull .... Cambridge ..... Qatar ..... Jordan. FYI when I was in Cambridge (14 years)Still had a season pass and drove the 300 + miles round trip no matter what day or night it was played on.
Great, eh? Promotion to what is described as RL's equivalent of the PL (stop laughing) is not decided by results on the pitch.
