On the upside, we should still get to see Joey at St James' on opening day...

I can't see him going anywhere other than Arsenal in all honesty, at his age he'll do all he can to have a stab at the Champions League. If he does end up there, I'd love to see him cheered everytime the ball goes near him, boos for Gervinho, and anti-Ashley songs throughout :emoticon-0148-yes:

    He could go anywhere...

Aston Villa - Good replacement for Milner and Barry
Bolton - Would probably take him, Coyle could manage him well, looking more for a striker though
Everton - He's on a free, boyhood fan
Man City? Emotional return haha, nah I doubt this.
QPR - Could afford him, help them in their first prem season
Tottenham - Good cheap replacement for Modric if he leaves
Wigan - you never know, they would have the Charlie money to spend

I think if he does leave he'll go to Arsenal or Spurs, unless Man Utd come in for him.

He's not what Arsenal need, if Fabregas and/or Nasri leave they need better, higher profile replacements and he isnt a defensive midfielder. Parker would be ideal for Arsenal IMO.

A genuine upside, though, is that Fergie, Vuckic and Abeid will get more game time this season (whether or not Barton leaves).

will be interesting to see whatever team he ends up at fans reaction as every ****er except us (and a majority of us as well) said he should be kicked out of football and never kick a ball again after he went into jail

It's funny how rarely this comes up these days...amazing how fast people can forget something after a good season.

If you look at all his mentions its fans of every club in the country saying they'd love him there. Fickle business.

The loudest chant at Leeds was, "Ashley, Ashley sign him up"!
