    I'd go Rosberg here.

It just looks a tyre management race.

Tyre issues for the Mercs or is it just a false alarm?

Could have a real odd grid- Vettel can only be 5th at best with the penalty but looks lightning, Kimi has been strong, Rosberg might start last depending on the damage, and Hamilton has had tyre issues.

The Red Bulls could end up with good grid slots but can they hold off the Ferrari and Merc engines??

Big chance for Hamilton now. Just needs a clean lap in qualifying and the penalties will get him pole.

Seems to be struggling with race pace though, could be an interesting race. Hamilton not on it and Vettel and Rosberg out of position.

Mercedes considering withdrawing both cars for qualifying whilst they strengthen the suspension.

If they have any more failures, will the race go ahead?

Max was right, these curbs are too much.

It's not really a track problem. It's cars going off the track that's breaking the suspension.

Agreed, but the way they are with safety etc, I think they have to do something about this.

It's not just limited to one team, as can often be the case, this is now the 4th or 5th separate team to have had a failure. Getting close to US GP debacle before long.

Pascal Wehrlein doing a great job to get the Manor to Q2.
Interesting that Vettel set his best time on the Super Softs in Q2. Then again they have to do something different due to the 5 place penalty for his gearbox change.

I think that's a master stroke by both Ferrai and RB - Vettels lap was very competitive.

Why did Ferrari not use the ultra in their final run?

    Great fun this.

Any mistake and your rear tyre falls off.

Rain messes up the grid and penalties as well.

Hamilton aggressive as always and it pays off. Rosberg cautious as always.

    Really fun unpredictable session.

This race is going to be interesting

Light showers forecast for race time tomorrow, although I do stress light.

We'll see how it shapes up in the morning.

I wonder if it was due to the track temp being lower. It might have been a cunning move to test the Super Softs at a lower temp in case the race temps are lower. Didn't they also set their fastest laps in Q2 on Super Softs? I wonder if Super Softs are actually faster on the Ferrari here?

Ferrari struggles to heat the tyres, so with the damp track they thought the SS would give them the best chance of being in the working range.
