I don't need to calm down. I am not the one wetting themself at the imagined horrors which could be perpetrated by away fans.

I don't think anyone else is either. They're still a factor when considering a safety certificate though.

You couldn't make it up could you. Hull City move us around like chess pieces. They destroy the atmosphere in the north east corner and split up communities that have been going for years. Add in the name change and hundreds, if not thousands of City supporters have left and found other things to do on a Saturday.

Having achieved that they decide to do the same to thousands more, pricing them out of their seats and moving them into the corners. Abolishing concessions to save a few quid on employing stewards to sort out those using concessionary passes.

Finally they shut off half the upper west to give it to away supporters only to find the seat prices will be capped at £30 and to comply with the Premier League rules they have to offer concessions.

The SAG wouldn't have treated the upper west any differently than the east stand. It would be all about segregation, number of stewards and getting in and out. Whether the SAG will allow away supporters and home supporters from the West Stand to mingle is of course another matter. Especially as the North West corner is one of the cheapest areas of the stadium in which young adults have priority for the seats.

    Who is "wetting themself"

You dont stick away fans next to the family stand. Agreed?
They were ably abetted in shifiting E1 to E3 by some of the "better informed" fans Obi.
I dunno how the timing is but i wondered if they upped the kids prices when they realised they couldnt charge the Man U's etc over 50 quid a ticket.

I think the Premier League announcement on the £30 took them by surprise judging by Ehab's comments at the time. I think they were planning on selling the tickets in the Upper West with no concessions and for the same as they'd charge City fans. Its just a feeling I had at the time.

I can't expand on what was said and why until after the minutes are released, so some of the specific points raised will have to wait until then.

Anyone know when the results of their deliberations re: locating away fans in West Stand Upper will be announced?

It normally takes two to three weeks for the minutes to be published.

Which will come first do you think - the sale or this announcement?

I think we'll know if we're being sold or not well ahead of these meeting notes being released.

We're now reaching the point where someone needs to start buying players and that's not going to happen until a decision is made on whose club it will be (it's going to take a couple of weeks to sort any deal, even once it's agreed).Ehab's still jerking everyone around and the closer it gets to the season, the less likely it is that a sale will be agreed. I'd really hoped it would be done this weekend, but as far as I'm aware, no deal has been agreed yet.

I think we'll know one way or the other by next weekend.

I also still think that if the club is not sold, we could still be looking at a new manager, before we worry about any new signings.
