    No t that I particularly disagree with the sentiment of England being utterly ****, but how exactly do we pay for Rooney's yacht? Unless I've misread the entire board for the past 5 years we are all city fans on here and not man u fans, so we in no way contribute to his wages

    What Wales and Iceland highlights is the importance of a good manager who can bring a team together, give them belief and confidence, making sure the team gel together, making sure the players play in their best position and know what's expected of them, making sure there's a strategy that the players believe in, making sure it can be changed/plan B if needed - it really doesn't matter if you have 11 good /great players, if you don't manage the team effectively you will not get the best out of them which is why the likes of Hodgson and Bruce will always under achieve
