I hate to admit it but your perfectly right. something serious has to happen before we get what we want. Just a pity theres such a fine line between protesting and sheer hooliganism. We want FA and Media on fans side, hoping some dickheads dont do something stupid and make us all look like bigger idiots than we do now following a club with a royal **** at the helm.

I stopped going when the club were found by a tribunal to be lying to Keegan, the fans and the media! I can't justify giving Ashley any of my hard earned cash before my kids

The problem with boycotting last time and the movement to get Ashley out last time was it was so disjointed. The final call was for the same outcome but to many factions acted on thier own and the overall message was distorted.

I still feel he won't care what the fans do. He has a large amount of season ticket money locked away in the bank and the players should act professionally enough to do their jobs to the best of thier ability.

 

We could start by boycotting anything associated with sports direct or any of his other companies. I have already purchased my season ticket, and will likely always do so. I don't purchase the the clubs tops or anything like that, and for the record since our last spat with Ashley, I've not purchased a beverage of any type in the ground. (that is something we could all avoid without hardship). People have said in the past to avoid going to games as a protest, but I'd already purchased my season ticket, and I've had it for so many years I would find it really hard to give up.
We're in the situation again where we are helpless and have to take it on the chin, but I will no doubt still be supporting my club when this lot are long gone and we were here first anyway.

 

And we or our offspring will be here long after that too. We are NUFC, not Ashley. It's just something to make money out of as far as he's concerned.

My plan is, we befriend him (may take a while) and then convince him to sell the club. Gotta be worth a pop if the assassinations don't work?

Edit: OR everyone turn up to the match in Guy Fawkes masks V for Vendetta style and then just march up to where he is and make him sign over the deeds of the club there and then! REVOLUTION!

 

I share your pain, my mates actually live in Manchester and take me to the occasional game. It would be so easy to switch teams, but I never would, Newcastle is in my blood, shame it's only pie juice that's in Ashleys
