Its a very big deal. If Rhaegar and Lyanna had an affair, then Jon is a bastard, and therefore cannot inherit the Iron Throne other than by conquest. IF they were married, and Jon is trueborn and has a Targaryen name, then with all the Baratheon's dead, he is the rightful King of Westeros, his claim is even better than Daenerys'.

Been looking for something new to watch by looking at the ratings on Rotten Tomatoes I was surprised that Penny Dreadful is very highly rated, it always liked a bit daft to me. Season one is rated 75% which is decent but 2&3 is getting 100%
Penny Dreadful does seem an odd one. From what I've seen it looks ****e (only a clip here and there) - many people say it's excellent

Its good, Classic Victorian horror and Sci-fi stories (Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, HG Wells etc) all mixed into one. Also following previous theme of this thread.... Lots of tits (mostly Eva Green's)
More like fell apart by end of season 3; 4 and 5 you could leave but I didn't mind them and actually didn't mind the ending...but then I'm a child of the original and it nosedived after one season lol. NB....very different in tone for any who haven't seen the new one but remember the first...
