Has left Man U, not favoured by Mourhino.

Interesting if he gets a management gig anywhere, I'd like to see how he gets on.

I thought he came over alright as a pundit this week on the telly.

He knows his onions that lad. No doubt.

Why not allow Giggsy to join his mates SB/Phelan?

We are short on attacking expertise at the club, and Giggs has a Europe-wide profile which would attract a better class of attacker than the likes of Proschwitz.

Id like to see him get a job in the Championship or League 1.. see what he can do as a manager and then progress through the divisions... something a certain Gary Neville should have done..

He's never played at those levels of football- what he knows about is top class PL and European football.

****ing knob-jockey superstars who think they'll set the managerial world on fire.

You deserve nowt in this life unless you ****ing work for it.

If you wanna be a ****ing manager then get a job at a Div 2 club and prove yourself.

The world does not owe you a living.

I quite like your sentiment, but still think that gigs will make a decent manager. Should start at port vale!!

Interesting in his statement how he only mentions 2 managers that he worked with.

Hard to say but without looking it all up I'm pretty sure there are very few top players who have gone on to become good managers.

All these ex players slagging the current England lot off, Carragher, Shearer etc etc
All from the comfort of the pundits chair.
None of them want to get their hands dirty and start off in league 1 or 2.
Will be interesting to see if Giggs is willing to drop down the leagues.
What they dont understand is they will learn more about man managment there than anywhere.

I just searched for that & that's the first I found. I'm sure there's more, but as we all know, Fergie was a brilliant manager but an average player.
I'm sure over the years there was plenty of ex players who made good managers, nowadays it's difficult for managers to keep jobs long enough to become established, whatever their background!
