He also has the Soton/Pompey previous as well. How can Soton fans NOT blame Spurs for anything bad that has happened to their club ??
The iceberg never played again in mid-Atlantic shipping lane Div 1, due to the career-ending injury suffered by being on the receiving end of the reckless collision.
How many teams have we played last season (and now the first match of the new season) that have just had a new manager or the new manager was about to take over? Surely we've had more than our fair share?
And mr anonymous (i've forgotten his name and can't be bothered to do a simple search) was in the stands when we played Villa at home. I think there's more than this.
Kane has not looked fit over Euro 2016. Given his slow start to the PL season last year, will Pochettino override Levy on dragging Kane out to play in that Australia tournament regardless of the financial gain/loss ??
I hope so. We shouldn't be taking Kane, Dier, Alli, or anyone from the Welsh and Belgian squads either.
The injury to Jan is a biggie. It may be fair to say he will not be fully ready to return to Spurs duty until September. What current academy talent or aspiring lower league youngsters can have a whole pre-season or be bought to be squad CB #3 in the absence of Jan ??
In terms of the start of the season, Davies has shown he can operate as a centre back in the Euros - although in terms of pre-season tours, where it can (hopefully) be presumed he'll be given some time off before pre-season training, the obvious answers are CCV and Ball - yet both are right-footed, while Jan and Big Kev are both left-footed, and the other option is Filip Lesniak who is left-footed, can play centre back and was on our retain list a few weeks back.
