So Southampton have just announced that Puel is going to be our next manager.

Just wondering who people would consider to be a good fit for the next England boss?

Controversial I know but I say Big Sam. He will take no crap, demand people play with pride and is good at getting the most out of a load of ****. yeah, there is the unpretty football thing but our players are clearly not capable of playing good football so why not. We don't have a single world class player so we are not ever going to play world class football.

I'd accept this, if the caveat was that we are building properly behind the scenes and we tell the media that Sam can do what he wants, as he'd be holding the reigns until the plans are in place in 4 years time. That plan would be about setting proper coaching for grass roots football.

I'd go with Wenger...partly because of his experience, but also because he'd probably have the nerve to take it. He's managed at the highest level, but is facing leaving his favourite club...just can't see why any younger manager in employment would take such a stressful job.

With his record he'll be returning players to their clubs with long lasting injuries.
In fact, the opposite to Hodgson, who calls them up injured then tries to fix them.

So, "Fat Sam" whilst he was West Ham manager and a respectful, "Big Sam" now it's England.

Not a bad shout though I've been saying the same thing.
