To suggest, with all the **** that has gone down, that this is the worst news this month, is ****ing ****ishness of the highest order. Cockwomble.
GG I'm not going into that discussion. Its always the Bruce lovers argument. You know what, I think part of the reason he says' he's staying' is that no one else has come in for him. We need someone new, with fresh ideas capable of allowing us to compete and thats the key word compete this season, someone who will give the fans something to believe in because and this is my opinion Bruce would have trouble training dogs to bark.
In some ways you're right GG. We're not a 'sexy' global club, but were Southampton when they found Pochettino. I just think it shows a singular lack of ambition if he has been given the nod. You can't honestly say that the squad from last season turned up for him game after game, we honestly didn't have a plan b and he said that'll never happen again at least 4 times. I think you find your love;, players do and I don't see how managers are any different. The question has to be, are we resigned to relegation before a ball has been kicked and is it all about the $160 million or whatever it is being the pot of gold the Allams have needed.
I'll take that as confirmation that you think it is worse than Brexit, Ataturk Airport, riots at the Euros and the like. Cockwomble ****.
How do you know that no-one has come in for him' ? Only one of four English managers in the Premier League. One of the longest serving managers in the top league ( which he got us into) The best record of getting clubs promoted from the Championship to the Premier League. The only manager ever to get Hull City promoted twice to the Premier League. I can see why you think no other clubs are interested in him.
Not only have we been on the best journey in our history! SB attracts very good players who wouldn't have touched us otherwise I'm more disappointed with phelans Impact if we're nitpicking!
Quill, you can say that about City, or football in general, indeed any sport, every month as there is always something worse happening than in what is just a game after all.
As others have said, Assem wants out and I believe he'd like to go through on his promise to go. I think Ehab wants to stay involved with a Premier League football club at all costs and isn't bothered at all about a good home. I also believe that Assem wants Bruce to stay whereas Ehab perhaps doesn't. I'm obviously not Assem's biggest fan, but he has some undeniable redeeming factors such as his generosity. I don't think Ehab is half the man his father is, and he's twice the liar, which is saying something of course. A lot of people close to them speak very highly of Assem which I've always found hard to understand but he's obviously very good to certain people. I've never come across anyone who likes Ehab. He's always come across as a really nasty sort with the things he's said versus what he's actually done. Those letters which were leaked surrounding the Airco is one example. He's just so dishonest and sneaky. What I believe Ehab has been doing recently around the attempted takeovers and Bruce's situation, which I'm sure will come out in the fullness of time, is piss poor even by his standards.
he meant most on this forum, but youre a newbie. you havent even notched up 100 comments... this dislike of SB is almost universal, it has been done to death
Hallgrimsson & Lagarback - a dream team - they seem to have instilled belief, confidence, and a structured plan with journeymen
