My preference was always May, but the main candidates have demanded respect for the result and ruled out another election before 2020.

You utter hypocrite. You blather on about sovereignty and then celebrate the fact that Britain could enter TTIP before the rest of the EU. and what sort of one sided deal would that be ? - when Britain is full of gene manipulated crap from America, when global players can then take the whole country to court. Will you still think that Britain is sovereign when it becomes the World's biggest US aircraft carrier ?

If this article is correct you need to thank the Brexit side for putting the final nail in the TTIP coffin. You sound a bit stressed, plant talking time.

I am still waiting to find out what the plan is. No trade deals for years. Continue paying into the EU without having a say on the new rules that we will have to adopt over the next two years. It is no wonder the leave side didn't wish to talk about it. Long grass calling, until someone pulls the plug on the whole mess. Someone will grasp the nettle somewhere down the line and tell the public the truth that it is not possible to make a deal in the public interest.

This is the crux of what I said in another post - we know so little about Article 50, yet the whole thing revolves around this !

Sincerely hope our negotiators have more about them and less defeatist than you.

What negotiators. New Zealand are offering to send a few over as you don't have more than 40.
Maybe you would like to tell us what these negotiations will include.

Do you run the UK chances down in the forlorn hope that a fairy godmother will grant your wish for a re-run. It is not going to happen.

I had thought that it was about 20, but when I saw that NZ were offering to help out, I accepted the higher figure.

Theresa May has launched her Conservative Party leadership campaign today. During the launch, she said she would not campaign to leave the European Convention on Human Rights. Gove has not said anything one way or the other. Her reason was that there would not be a majority in Parliament for such a move. So, is Theresa May’s point a throwaway one, or would she also argue that withdrawal from the EU requires Parliamentary approval?.
