England manager with an awkward press conference he would rather not have attended and warned his eventual successor would be taking over a "damaged" squad
Sunderland have emerged as one bookies’ 6/1 favourite to be Roy Hodgson’s next job.

The 68-year-old resigned immediately in the wake of England’s 2-1 Euro 2016 last-16 defeat to Iceland in France, which saw them crash out of the competition.

The hunt is now on for Hodgson’s successor, with Sam Allardyce among the leading contenders.

The Black Cats boss has a year left on his contract at the Stadium of Light, with one report this week claiming a clause exists in his agreement allowing him to leave the club should he be offered the England job.

Former Football Association chairman David Bernstein and players Jermain Defoe and Kevin Davies have backed Allardyce for the role, while Harry Redknapp has also expressed support for his appointment.

The 62-year-old was interviewed by the FA in 2006, when Steve McClaren was ultimately chosen to replace Sven Goran Eriksson, and it seems unlikely the powers-that-be would turn to Allardyce now.

We would be the laughing stock of the league

Apart from saying I'm a **** you've never said what you think of me.

So why not spell it out ....... you've said a few times you have a problem with me, what is it?

Don't mess about, just come out with it, you claim to be a straight talker so talk straight.

Well that makes very little sense, and you've dodged the question, but that's just what I expected.

Do you have some kind of problem with Arabs or is it ducks?

It seems a very silly thing to dwell on, you mention ducks quite often.

Why not be serious and tell me why you have such a problem with me .......... or can't you actually admit it?

Why not stop avoiding the question and stop all the smoke screening?

You have a lot to say for yourself but seem incapable of answering a simple question.

You always claim to be a straight talker but you're bringing in ducks, & Arabs and trotting out insults.

Come on Comm, spit it out man ......... what's your problem?

I've already asked you a straightforward question and you can't answer it.

You're just trotting out nonsense & insults because you can't answer the question, what's your problem with me?

Come on, here's a perfect opportunity ......... why not just put it down on this thread?

Why not ask a question straight our. I may reply to it then. Rather than reading the rest off your tripe.
Or maybe Upper deck can ask it for you.

Spit it out along wuth the feathers.

My first post was as clear as anyone, with a reasonable intellect, should need.

You've said, on numerous occassions, that you have a problem with me and that you've spelled it out clearly.

The thing is, you've never spelled anything out so here's your chance ......... just stop messing about and get on with it.

That's an answer, of a kind, but we both know you're avoiding the question.

There are plenty of 'tedious' posters but you obviously have a massive problem with me.

Yet, for whatever reason, you just can't bring yourself to spell it out ........ exactly what I expected from the likes of you tbh.
