Worst news this month him staying.... he's NEVER a premiership manager and his deluded if he thinks he is. We struggled with his tactics in the championship, prepare yourselves for 38 games of 10 behind the ball Abel up front chasing shadows and then you can all call Abel **** for not scoring more and say he's a waste of £10 million. Id have rather lost at Wembley sacked him and started again.

The announcement brings mixed feelings... Although its good to finally hear some news, its not the news most of us were hoping for. I think many of us can agree that it felt right to have a new manager going into the new season. New owners would be great too obviously, but Bruce staying doesn't really feel like a positive thing...
For me Bruce is not the man to keep us up & establish us in The Prem long term. He took City down last time after stating all season long he had a better squad than the season before & we would finish higher than we did. When the slide happened he couldn't turn things around. Sunderland & Leicester dug their way out of relegation & we slid backwards into it throwing points away. I'd give him till Christmas at best & if we are not safely mid table then he has to go & a new man has to come in & be given the Jan transfer window to make changes.
