The new CEO. Starts his new job tomorrow. Not exactly sure just what a ceo does at a football club, but do know the last one resigned after the aj mess.

So what will he do, and what should be his first priorities?

 

If you look at what Daniel Levy does at Spurs especially when dealing with Sunderland.....then lets hope he shafts other clubs the way Levy does with us.

 

So part of his job is to fix (often inflate) transfer fees.

When he was at Tel Aviv, he was heavily involved in the infrastructure of the club and growing them globally. He done a tremendous job, by all accounts.
He brought in all sorts of apps to bring the fans closer to the club, but also to bring in more revenue. He's always wanted his football clubs to engage with the fans, as much as possible.

Martin Baine has a massive head start than our pervious CEO's which is a working knowledge of football club & transfer regulations.
But it could be rather tricky though now we've Brexit to negotiate.

What I've just said there, mate. He grows the business, which incidentally, has been a long term target for Ellis. Short has tried to gain support in the USA and Africa, not sure how much of a success that has been, but I get the feeling Ellis expected a bit more. Maybe he thinks Martin is the man to take us to the next level on that score...

Yep. So Ellis doesn't have to be so hands on. Ellis tells him the vision he has to deliver it. As SAFC83 says, he knows his onions so hopefully he can deliver on that vission

 

Anybody got any idea how much the club makes from these concerts?, must be a few Bob I'd of thought.

They must make a fortune.. My 2 girls spent almost £70 between them the other night (Beyoncé) on pop and various food stuff bought under the stand.
I snuck in to meet them for the final 30 mins..... It was great to see the North Stand singing for once
