The point I am trying to make, in my sensible way, is that the EU are not quite as inflexible and stupid as you credit them. They may get the big ideas wrong but when it comes to the practicalities they have people who can understand the world. When they have the choice of putting at risk their exports to the UK they will soon realise they are better of agreeing a tariff free deal and not insist on conditions that the British people will not accept. They tried playing hard ball with Cameron when he wanted to renegotiate terms and they got it spectacularly wrong. They wont want to get it wrong again.

So if we'll end up with an economy at least as good as the EU. What's the fuss?

If we end up with an economy that is worse than the one we had then I think people have a right to be a bit pissed off.

In other news, Gove has decided to run against Boris for Tory party leader. What a ****ing shambles!

But still no worse than Europe? It sounds like the EU should be joining us if they want to grow.

So you don't mind if the economy of the UK declines as long as it's still better than Europe's? Isn't that a bit like a Sheffield United fan saying that they don't mind getting relegated as long as they finish above Sheffield Wednesday?

That doesn't mean that people can work and be resident in the country.

It's called democracy. Do you think he shouldn't be allowed to stand or something?

So why do you think that it is a "shambles" that he has decided to stand?

They've shunned that petition already despite it having 170K signatures, as they've hidden behind it's wording.

To call a GE it'll need 2/3rds of the House to vote for it. Far from impossible, but it'll need co-ordination.

They'd do better calling for a debate within the house on activating this option.

I didn't say if I'd mind or not mind, or if I agreed with the predictions or not, I'm simply trying to clarify the remainian argument as a whole, rather than in bits, as they some contradictory.

Remainers still name calling while the Conservative Party gets on with electing a leader. It shows the divisions in the country. Statesmanlike behaviour from one side and immature name calling from the other side. It's clear who is ahead and will progress and who is stuck in the nursery.

There's a number of signatures required for them to have to debate it I think?

So, let me get this straight... the leader of the opposition campaigned to stay but secretly wanted to leave, so his party held a non-binding vote to shame him into resigning so someone else could lead the campaign to ignore the result of the non-binding referendum which many people now think was just angry people trying to shame politicians into seeing they'd all done nothing to help them.

Meanwhile, the man who campaigned to leave because he hoped losing would help him win the leadership of his party, accidentally won and ruined any chance of leading because the man who thought he couldn't lose, did - but resigned before actually doing the thing the vote had been about. The man who'd always thought he'd lead next, campaigned so badly that everyone thought he was lying when he said the economy would crash - and he was, but it did, but he's not resigned, but, like the man who lost and the man who won, also now can't become leader. Which means the woman who quietly campaigned to stay but always said she wanted to leave is likely to become leader instead.

Which means she holds the same view as the leader of the opposition but for opposite reasons, but her party's view of this view is the opposite of the opposition's. And the opposition aren't yet opposing anything because the leader isn't listening to his party, who aren't listening to the country, who aren't listening to experts or possibly paying that much attention at all. However, none of their opponents actually want to be the one to do the thing that the vote was about, so there's not yet anything actually on the table to oppose anyway. And if no one ever does do the thing that most people asked them to do, it will be undemocratic and if any one ever does do it, it will be awful.

    Clear?
