http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...inal-tickets/story-29452003-detail/story.html Of course it's only 40 miles away in a dinky little stadium......
Tickets???????????? Tickets on sale????????????? At the stadium?????????????? Like from a ticket office???????????? Never, I don't believe it!
Radio Rugby had Radford as ' the first ever coach of FC to lift the cup at Wembley' as a sports news item this morning. FFS they haven't played the semi final yet.
This supposed to be irony/piss take? "Hull FC smash 4,500 Challenge Cup semi-final ticket sales in two days" http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...9459468-detail/story.html#LhvgYSHKMmv1fzTv.99
I support Hull I don't laugh at our other teams. I love sport. I don't find news about other sports funny. Get a life.
I support Hull City I do laugh at our other teams and, at times, Hull City I like sport I’m comfortable in taking the piss out of my friends and myself Get yourself a girlfriend
Taking the piss is fine But revelling in another Hull team's misfortune, or failure to be as big as us is a bit sad. There is a difference between reciprocated humour and just being mean.
Ever read the FC forums when City are beaten? Or them sneering how we aren't as big as the football teams they "support" in addition to FC?
Doesn't make it right. Anyway, I have said what I think. I'll leave it at that. Any Hull team has my respect, which can involve joking but not mocking.
Surely the point here is the reporting from the HDM. If City were in an FA Cup semi final and the FA decreed that demand was so low they'd play it at a stadium with a 20k capacity 90 mins from Hull and then we only sold 9k tickets in 2 days, it would be 'worrying times'. Yet Eff Cee are talking half these numbers and its 'ticket sales are smashed'.
Why do so many on here seem to think City and FC should be judged on the same parameters? They're different sports with different fan bases. Anyone that justifies their weird 'twisting the knife' attitude with 'well, FC fans do it to us' just come across as a total pussy to be honest.
Precisely. A bit like the reports in the HDM where they said Adam Pearson, when he was in charge at City, must have been worried looked around at the empty seats in the KC when there was a 19,000 crowd at City whilst FC were playing in a "packed" KC in front of 16,000. Or a couple of hundred away FC fans is a black and white army.
Better tell rugby fans the parameters are different. They consider themselves as the equivalent of Man Utd or Liverpool and that Super League is the equivalent of the Premier Leahue. Big fish in a puddle is more like it.
