A 32 year old Robin Van Persie can be had for under 4 million from Feberance.... Fervence .... A Turkish club . Frankly , I'd snap him up pronto .
Played in 43 games last season . 31 of those games were league games and he scored 16 goals . Scored 6 goals in his last 6 League Appearences in Turkey . Not bad for an old , injured and washed up guy IMO . Scored every 2 game with Arsenal , then with Man U and in Turkey also last season . He is a sniper and a goal scorer , something we lack . Even as a sub , under 4 million is a bargain IMO .
Britton looks ready to be signing an extension and says " No Thanks " to Monk at Leeds ....and who could blame him. After the way Monk treated Britton since he became manager Garry has more guts than Dick Tracy and better get his head out of the sand with his " Swansea " bucket list
You probably mean Fenerbahce. And here's a great way to impress your Canadian footballing chums - it translates as "Lantern Garden". Aww, isn't that lovely.
...and just to finish off my in-depth knowledge of Istanbul football (), Fenerbahce's ground is on the Asian side while Galatasaray and Besiktas are on the European side...
Where the **** have Palace got all this money from all of a sudden?? £13 mill for Townshend and £32 mill for Batshuayi
I think the Batshuayi is off going else where, but then I have heard they are looking at paying 30m for Benteke.
Our first 5 seasons in the Premier ( I think ) ....9th , 12th , 11th , 8th , 12th ....and we didn't do it spending 30 odd million on a player . Our biggest spend was on a player we spent 12 million on , got great results from and sold him on for 25 million . This is how we got where we are and I don't see why we must change now . Buy low .....sell high . The past 6 season our net spending on transfers is 0 ......the only team better is Tottenham and that's only because they made 70 million off of Bale .
I agree with you in principle . I would like to see us adopt Wales' defensive formation and feel that Naughton would be ok playing the wing back role. So for me the two signings I would like to see and money spent on them would be a midfield playmaker and a top striker but not players who are on a downward spiral age wise. Have also changed my mind about Chester and wouldn't mind seeing him here if he can perform as he does for Wales.
