    Good business for Le Arsenal - Fabregas goes for £30m and they pick up Barton for nothing.

    Is this what people consider Mike Ashley running Newcastle United as a sound business? I really don't think so.

    Punish players for telling the truth on-line - at least any of the players remaining know exactly how to engineer a move away right enough...<ok>

    I mean anyone who considers Ashley releasing Joey Barton as a free transfer to be sound business.

    Thinking about form Ashley's mindset:

    Do nothing, pay Barton his wages for another year, let him leave on a free.

    Let him go on a free, save his wages, potentially not replace (if he does it will be with somebody cheap and on low wages).

    Looks like perfect business sense from Ashleys point of view.

    Note: In no way am I defending the fat bastard. I think he is a proper twat for doing what he has done.
