    Echo article about whether we should keep Pelle or not. Everything suggests it would be best to get a return on him, especially if he wants to leave as has been suggested, but from a pure footballing point of view, I would keep a good striker who is familiar with our style even at the cost of him going on a free. However, he will probably go....and I would prefer he goes abroad in that case.

    I'd treat him a bit like Lambert. If an Italian club comes in for him let him go so he can finish his career there which it has been reported he wants. Otherwise I would probably keep him as he is still useful to us. I wouldn't be happy to see him go to our rivals.

    Is that a real rumour, or Liverpool fans having some fun?
    I thought I saw comments, under stories about Mané's move, along the lines of "Now let's go after Bertrand" as a wind up.

    Wouldn't be too sure. Hardest league to get up out of. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they stay there for a season or three.

    Somebody is going to trip Townsend's sell-on clause soon, I've little doubt. Sissoko is just waiting for someone to snap him up. I'd like it to be us, but it won't.

    Basically, it'll be a bloody miracle if they keep everyone. And even if they do, it would not surprise me if they failed to get promotion. Good for one or two great results. Won't do 46 matches.
