Away for a couple of weeks and then no internet for a week and so, as you do, allowed myself a rapid scan of some of our more frequently used threads. Am tempted, though I wouldn't dare to point a finger in any particular direction, to think that recent events have most benefited tripe manufacturers...but then I have just returned from a good night out. Better border controls for the Nest anyone?

    awful eh...

    I actually take 9 a day for diabetes/hypertension syndrome

Then for my back... currently up to 10 dependant on the pain

I imagine the day will come when your prescription is made up into a compound that contains the right mix for you....

The first recorded epileptic was Julius Caesar, so I won't get my hopes up.

Are you sure? Hippocrates was the first to advocate medicine and diet to treat epilepsy - in 400 BC, some time before Caesar. Prior to that, the Greeks viewed it as a curse from the gods & Babylonians attributed it to demons.

Morning all, not a bad day for getting about with some cloud and sun, warm but not over hot.
Yesterday I came across a dead snake, and already it was providing quite a feast for some of the bugs. Probably in it's better days it had been a metre long, but by this morning there was not even a trace of it left. For some reason I thought about the quiz question on here. :emoticon-0100-smile

Morning all, 1st July and I wonder where another month has gone. Bright and a warm breeze should get some work done. Tour de France coming this way next week, so I will be going to see if I can get a new freebie hat to protect the scalp.
