Roy says he doesn't know why he's there as last night's statement was enough and he's no longer the manager. Oh dear. Looking forward to Durham's response...
I had to turn him off, as soon as he said his statement from last night was enough, he's an arrogant fool
I don't know what i'm doing here.......4 YEARS TOO ****ING LATE TO ASK THAT QUESTION YOU ****. You've just overseen what many consider to be the lowest moment at a tournament and you thought you could resign and walk away. Bollocks you prick.
Beyond belief no doubt I ought to keep listening. Do you ever listen to Jacobs in the afternoon, he's never hidden his dislike for him
He's no longer employed by them. if I quit my job today they might expect a notice period but I dont legally have to give them it.
Really? Do you not think the manager of the national team, whether he's resigning or not, shouldn't have to face the press and answer questions over the trainwreck that he's presided over? I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect him to answer some of the many angry questions there are
Depends what his criticism is. If its for not caring or trying, then no he shouldnt be considering he went on strike during his career.
sportingintelligence @sportingintel Getting the impression that Roy Hodgson doesn't know what he's doing there.
I didnt say it was unreasonable to expect it. Most people would want to do the press conference to explain himself - I would if I was in his shoes - but he clearly doesnt feel that.
Just thinking did he actually resign, or did he say he wouldn't renew his contract? If it's the second, it may be that his contract is still in force until a specified date in the future?
