I haven't voted because my preferred choice given the circumstances isn't there. The club are unlikely to talk in a meaningful way to supporters about the membership scheme and where people want to stand or sit. We'll continue to be moved around like chess pieces at the Allams pleasure until they sell.
Presumably they're not going to entertain putting them back behind the goal, so if they were to move to the North West it would have to mirror the North East, so it would be W10 to N2. But that puts them next to the corporates, so won't happen.
I think the poll at the top needs adjusting to reflect other thoughts. Then again, I doubt a fans poll influences the SAG, and it's not really the SAG's choice as to where they go, only if the changes proposed by the club meet the safety requirements.
Agreed. It should be a straight remain or leave. I cant see how anyone would prefer them to be where they are now over anywhere else in the stadium..
Moving the away fans to the West Upper is the only thing on the agenda, we can discuss anything we like on here, but it will have no bearing on what I'm able to discuss at the SAG meeting, which is entirely limited to whether the away fans should be in the West Upper. The club decides where they want the away fans, the SAG decides if they will allow it or not, nothing else is on the table.
Other than as an observer, I'm not really sure how much influence you have on safety discussions, and SAG don't tend to offer alternatives, just comment on the clubs proposals, so it seems a bit academic anyway, other than just as a general topic of discussion on here.
I'm there as the fans representative and I'll be given an opportunity to say what the fans think, so it seems eminently sensible to ask them.
And requires double the cost regarding works on segregation and entrances, as there will be two entry points for away fans. Seems impractical to me.
For most games there are no away fans in the corporate seats, only the games like Leeds, Wednesday and Boro see a handful.
There's always spare seats in there, and what corporates there are seem anaemic and lethargic. Might be the making of them.
I've got a decent response on Twitter, so far 256 to remain and 112 to move to the West Upper, so about 70% against moving the away fans this season.
In an ideal world the KC would have an upper east stand tier and away fans could go upstairs. For now they have to stay where they are.
Just making sure, because it's not obvious from your previous replies. It's academic, the decision is not in SAG's gift, but I'd prefer it if a full, rather than potentially misleading version of fans views did the rounds.
Given the club get the minutes, perhaps it's one way of pointing out that there's perhaps a better way than either option worth considering. It's simply wrong to say that fans want away fans to stay where they are, which is what your wording suggests and the vote choices tries to imply.
As far as Friday's SAG meeting goes, there is only one question, should the away fans be allowed to be moved to the West Upper or not. Everything else is another topic for another day, it's completely irrelevant for the purposes of that meeting and that's why it's the only thing I asked for opinions on.
