They may as well call the Blarite part 'New Tories' or 'Blue Labour'. They must have realised how disaffected people have been with labour chasing the right wing vote and pffering no opposition to the Tories - just Abstaining or Supporting their policies!

Personally, I can see a centre left party, free of union interference being pretty popular with the electorate.

It's kind of what the Lib Dems intended to be before they ****ed it up with some stupid policies and leaders.

Personally i think the Tories will (and have) get away with anything as long as people get their information from the right wing press (as with the EU referendum) - right wing press readership- 14m before you include the Daily Mail owned Metro and Tory controlled BBC, Express owned Channel 5 news, Sky News and ITV, Left wing press 3m. Hardly balanced reporting.

The unions are what fund the Labour Party. Remove them and you'd need to replace them with either millionaire donors ala Tories or thousands of grassroots members ala Corbyn

So you knew what the rest of us also knew, that is the only point we made to you. We all knew it would happen and, as Osborne has said, it is not about panic it is about planning and solutions. You said there is no solution, but there must be, it will be found, planned and enacted, but not to some knee-jerk timetable.

Totally agree with your comment about high volatility, although I do wonder how long it will be high before we see a return to something very manageable - again something I have said to you.

We both know that capital investment comes and goes, quite often for reasons beyond our control; our economy is not as fragile as many and has the resilience to manage this change - or I totally misheard Osborne.

I asked for it, you didn't; I accept the risks are there, but I accept that good stewardship will bring us a better deal and put control back where it belongs - in the UK. I was always aware that NI and Scotland might see this as an opportunity to try and seek further levels of independence; let them, but they will have much negotiation to do with us first. Gibraltar need to assess where their loyalties lie, but I would support them leaving the UK, if that is what they want.

Damage can and will be repaired, some things are worth the effort, cost and inconvenience; leaving the control of the EU is one of them. I voted with my eyes wide open, as I know so many did, just as so many made informed votes to stay; but the vote went for leaving and folk really should get on with it.

I think a genuine centre party, with sensible policies would generate enough backing to run a campaign.

The problem for the Labour Party is that they've been held hostage by the unions. The unions forced Milliband Jnr on the party. His brother, who just about everybody else wanted, would have most probably won the election for Labour.

and the BBC, ITV and C4 all pro Labour leftwing dross.

Express is UKIP than Tory now.

So stop crying accept the result and move on. No amount of crying will change the result, you will not get a second referendum the PH has said so.

He was the better bet for Labour, but most Unions are run buy dimwits marxists.

Also lots of people joined the Labour party for £3 to vote JC in, because he is unelectable

    I largely agree with that.

However Labour was never going to win an election without winning back the centre ground that it lost to the Liberals and Tories in the 2010 election, who then virtually all shifted to the Tories in 2015

Appealing to traditional Labour voters Corbyn did very well, and did indeed increase the membership of the party as a result. However, due to his left wing past he was never going to win back those crucial lost votes in the sectors that would have really mattered to Labour in terms of their ability to actually win an election.

Labour can stick to it's guns, shift further to the left and consolidate it's core vote, and in doing so will be being true to it's original core beliefs, but I'll become an evermore fringe party imo.

I agree we have to get on with it.

I've given my reasons for voting remain at this time. You feel
Differently about it. That's fair enough.

As I've said, the economy has been damaged and will be damaged further while this goes on.

It's Osborne's job to try and calm the situation. However, he knows very well that huge amounts of capital have already left the UK, and new investment capital will be hard to come by in the current climate.

Informed leavers I have no problem with. I disagree that now was the time to do it, but accept their opinion nonetheless.

If you want to play semantics then go play with that Tory petersaxton, he loves a bit of it.

But your boring the **** out of me, with your pedantry. You knew fine well what I meant and what I said about us not having a defined constitution is completely correct.
