Now reports are suggesting an announcement is due this week, as Dembele jas apparently agreed a salary of €1.75 (£1.4) million a year to join the club – around £27k per week. Still say it's a daft move for the young man; letting money turn his head.
According to the local paper we're not giving up without a fight and the Club have offered Dembele an increased deal. It won't match the Turk's £27k per week but it does come with assurances from Slavi and cosy noises about how it's better to stay at the Cottage in terms of his future prospects. Not sure that's how his moneyball Agent's will see it, nor the benefits to the team with a prima donna Moussa strutting around the field.
Well, if he signs a new contract with us, it gives us the option of selling him for a proper fee in the near future, which would be better than him leaving on the cheap at the end of his contract this summer. I don't get to as many games as most of you, but surely he commands a place in the starting eleven on merit, regardless of any prima donna inclinations, doesn't he?
According to Spanish papers La Liga side Sporting Gijon want Fernando Amorebieta. please log in to view this image Sporting are said to be offering Nando a 3 year contract, presumably to defray some of his wage demands. And that's where the rub comes in - money! Sporting don't have any, despite selling Bernardo Espinosa to Middlesbrough (they want Nando to replace him). Whereas with 1 year left on his contract, Fulham are looking for a fee. Source: http://bizkaia.eldesmarque.com/athl...-sporting-ofrece-tres-temporadas-a-amorebieta
It's all go ... according to the Sun Eddie Howe is finalising a deal to take Emerson Hyndman to Bournemouth on a long term contract. Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...gn-fulhams-american-prospect-emerson-hyndman/ please log in to view this image
My favourite, a lad like Roberts with so much talent who has not been allowed to achieve his full potential by the tossers who are running and ruining our club. EH you have made a great acquisition.
Loads of wittering around that Brendan Rogers up at Celtic, having offloaded Anthony Stokes, is interested in Moussa Dembele. And that his old club, Liverpool, have rejoined the fray, reckoning they could pinch hin for £250k (if you believe kop blogs). Meanwhile the young man has appeared on French TV - he's on about the 12 minute mark If you're not totally up in the language he said in a nutshell, "Not bovered with all this interest, bruv. My entourage are keen for me to stay grounded. In the UK football is a way of life and a religion; it is mad, regardless of in which division the club is.” You can be sure however that his 'entourage', Mino Raiola and Mamadi Fofana, most certainly are bothered ... about money. And we shouldn't forget that Dembele still has an offer on the table from Fulham.
The Scottish Sun are reporting that Celtic (that is, Brendan Rogers) are also showing interest in Jack Grimmer please log in to view this image That really would be the end of an era. The last of the Dallas Cup winning team, which Jack of course captained.
We're still struggling to off load Maarten Stekelenburg. Thankfully Ronald Koeman still likes him and is apparently looking to take the 33 year old to his new side Everton. please log in to view this image Source: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...on-want-maarten-stekelenburg-koeman-11533624?
Looks like Dembele is going to celtic, was apparently in glasgow today for a medical. Didn't expect him to stay at fulham but for him to be going to celtic is even worse news for me!
Dembele to celtic is confirmed on a 4 year contract. Would like to say i wish him all the best but i really really don't haha.
Confirmed ... Moussa Dembele has gone to Celtic .. and for £500k (that's even less than Hyndman!!!!!!!!) Source: http://www.celticfc.net/news/10776 please log in to view this image
So in the last week or two around £20m worth of talent in Hyndman and Dembele have left for a total sum of just over £1m. Depressing.
According to Sky Sport Nando has said "he no longer wants to stay in Craven Cottage, telling Jokanovic on the first day of training that he wants to leave as soon as possible and that he will refuse to play for them if he is not sold by August." So he's going on strike it seems and this despite a smiley face in the gallery of photos posted by the Club yesterday. Maybe he's already got his answer.
Another update on that "calendar" please log in to view this image Can see another 4/5 in that collection gone by early next week, given that the transfer market officially opens on 1st July.
