    No I wasn't.

I said when he goes there.

Do you think the people he has to negotiate with will come round to Chez Boris's because, blast it, we're British and they should bally well come to us what?

It's the first time I have asked you that question, there is only one there: good with numbers, are you?

You have told us endlessly about volatility and your experience, thank you; we knew, it is not rocket science, you really did not to have 20yrs of financial training to predict volatility.

I have never claimed to be an expert on anything, which is totally the opposite to what you have constantly done. I have a decent Layman's understanding of things; it affects me so I take note. You have disputed what I have said, as has Tobes, but you have yet to prove your points - far from it. You call us fools, yet can't explain yourself properly, so I will leave it to you to continue as you are. You might be right about long-term financial mayhem, but I believe the self-survival instincts of Europe (in or out) will make any volatility manageable and within the scope of allowing further growth. It will not be overnight and was never going to be overnight; referendum or not. How is Spain, healthy economy? Greece, Portugal, others got concerns not linked to the EU / UK referendum?

    You said:
"Boris getting absolutely slated by the MEPs. Basically been accused of lying to the UK people just so he can become PM.

When he goes there to negotiate a deal they will absolutely tear him apart."

You referred to the MEPs. If the last sentence doesn't refer to MEPs then he will not have to go near the MEPs and he will have very little need to go to Brussels. Most of the deal will be negotiated by those put in charge of negotiations. He would deal with the leaders of the 27 countries who are better behaved.

according to many in the media; there is gonna be a General Election later this year.
I wonder if one of the parties will make 'Remaining in the EU' as a party policy.

When he goes there - Brussels.

Maybe he won't go to Brussels. I suspect he will.

Please don't tell me what I meant, I know what I meant as I wrote it.

You corrected me for supposedly saying Boris would be going to negotiate with the MEPs. Which I didn't. That was in your head, right next to the game of Pong.

Now kindly **** off and go back to talking about cats <cheers>

As I've said, what I knew would happen has occurred . There IS no quick fix.

You have only to look at the crazy volatility of the markets to see that uncertainty reigns supreme. High volatility may be good for scalpers and day traders, but it scares serious investors to death.

Investment capital will dry up in the UK. In fact I'm told that billions have already been withdrawn. The dangers to a fragile economy I have highlighted many times.

The unnecessary risks to the economy at this time were why I voted to remain.

That damage has been done, and continues to be done. The only questions left are how much damage and how long the economy will take to recover.
There are no simple answers. The people of the U.K. asked for this, whether they realised it or not. Now they'll have to live with it.

Afraid not! In my view any political party that makes overturning the democratically expressed will of the people one of it's policies, risks political suicide.

You have to ask yourself, if they're willing to overturn this vote, why not anything else they don't like?

I wish I could say that I agree. But they would simply point to scaremongering on both sides.

Do you think people seriously believed just about all the lies?
The people voted on the fundamental issues not scare stories about punishment budgets.

The problem with an issue as diverse as people's perceptions as to whether the EU was a good or a bad thing in their lives is the very fact that there are so many people, all with viewpoints on particular points of relevance in their day to day lives. The problem was that all of that opinion had to diverge on just an 'in' or an 'out' vote - an impossible situation with so many variables at play. Ask yourself what might have happened had there been a third option on the ballot paper - something along the lines of ''give the EU 12 months to reform'. I suspect that would have been the winner.

Murdoch doesn't like Europe because no one there will listen to the neo-nazi phone hacking nationality changing ****,
that's why the English voted for Brexit.
