Given half a chance, most people would leave N9 to live in Portsmouth.

Edmonton and Ponders End have been rough for decades, that is true, yet it's now worse than ever.

Have you ever lived in N9? If so, was it during the last ten years? Did your kids attend school in N9? I don't think you'll truly understand until you've lived it.

I lived on the Commerce Rd estate in Wood Green for donkeys years mate. It's actually a lot better now than it was then.

Do you know why areas of Wood Green are better now than they used to be? Because I played a major part in securing £27 million from central government. And you can add Hornsey, South Tottenham and Stroud Green to the beneficiaries.

I've mentioned all this before, but I'll say it again: the government does **** all to help immigrants assimilate. The councillors, MPs and general do-gooders slap themselves on the back for their misguided generosity, yet the poor buggers dumped on the council estates rarely taste the champagne and petit mignon. Uncontrolled immigration causes unrest and resentment, and whether those feelings are unjust and bigoted does not really matter, for successive governments have failed us all on this matter.

I used to blame the Welsh. But now I'm grateful to them for proving there is still one nation even more ****ing stupid than the English.
